Get ready for our adventure weekend in Waterval Boven!! Tranquilitas Adventure Farm is situated on the hilltops of Waterval Boven, overlooking the Elands Valley and Waterval Onder in Mpumalanga, South Africa.

 Tranquilitas is a rock climbing and mountain biking mecca. Here are over 600 bolted climbing routes with an array of grades. There is more than 80km of single-track. The single-track mountain biking trails offer a variety of riding, including several flowy, downhill rides.

Hikers and trail-runners have a choice of trails varying in distance and difficulty. The trails take you through forests, past waterfalls, over viewpoints and past historical sites.

 HIKING

Tranquilitas has a variety of trails ranging from beginner-level to advanced. The trail distances vary from 3 km to 38 km and from 1 hour to 6 hours

MOUNTAIN BIKING

Tranquilitas MTB trails offers what few trail centres have. In total 80km of single-track at an altitude of 1600m to 2000m above sea level. Not many trail centres have 4-5km of downhill flow-runs, Tranquilitas has four such lines where not a single pedal-stroke is required to descend the entire run.

ROCK CLIMBING

Tranquilitas is one of South Africa’s premier spots for sport climbing. The campsite is a stone’s throw away from the crags so no long walks are needed. The Waterval Boven area has over 600 excellent quality sport routes on hard sandstone.
