The Kianga Venue boasts a beautiful hiking trail terrain with magnificent views!

They have a 3km, 6km and 10km trail rated as easy to moderate.

The lodge is pet friendly with a serene nature environment, and accommodation is available for those wanting to break away for the weekend. 

We will have a braai lunch afterwards and there is a swimming pool to cool down in after the hike.
 

  • Meet in the reception car park at 07:30. We start hiking at 08:00.
  • Difficulty rating: 10km moderate difficulty.
  • Entrance fee: R50 per person, plus your R20 club fee in cash. 
  • There are braai facilities. So please bring a packed or braai lunch and charcoal. You may also want to bring snacks which you can eat along the way.
  • Bring: Good hiking shoes, hat, sun block, at least 2lt of water, braai lunch.
  • No radios. No claims against the club for loss/death or injury. Your participation is voluntary. Take care. No littering, we leave only fairy footprints!

10 km moderately hike. There is also a 6km trail available.
