Experience the awe-inspiring majesty of Mount Everest, located a mere 21 km from the picturesque town of Harrismith in the eastern Free State. Except for clean country air and a relaxing farm atmosphere, Mount Everest offers a lot for the outdoor enthusiasts to keep busy.

* The guest farm is a popular climbing spot for rock enthusiasts, from beginners to experienced trad climbers. If you have never done it before, but would like to try on something less daunting, there will be someone to guide you.

* Even though there are no marked hiking trails, there are at least two trail options that our hike leaders have done before – the first is an easy but enjoyable route that passes 7 dams on the farm. There is also a trail up to Eagle Mountain that is more strenuous but has beautiful views.

* The farm also offers mountain biking, fishing and bird watching.
