There are two wonderful Nature trails on the property, which are clearly marked and easy to walk on. They travel past ravines and up and down the Magaliesberg Mountains and into canyons. Along the way you will experience wildlife consisting of buck, monkeys, baboons and leopard, water features and breathtaking views, which will make you want to come back for more.

The shorter of the two trails drops into a scenic gorge by way of a long ladder, and then follows the river all the way through to the end, where we will scramble up the embankment. It is a beautiful trail through indigenous vegetation and interesting rock formations, and is a good average hike for real nature lovers.

• Meet in the reception car park at 08:00. We start hiking at 08:30.
• Difficulty rating: 9km moderate difficulty (requires some fitness).
• Entrance fee: R150 per person, including a R20 club fee.
• There are braai facilities. So please bring a packed or braai lunch and charcoal. You may want to bring snacks which you can eat along the way.
• We will have access to the one of swimming pools – so bring your swimming trunks & bikinis if you are brave enough.
• Bring: Good hiking shoes, hat, sun block, 2lt of water, braai lunch.
• No radios or pets. Sorry. No claims against the club for loss/death or injury. Your participation is voluntary. Take care. No littering, we leave only fairy footprints!
