Olive Tree Farm is a true gem in the African bushveld. It’s situated close to the Magaliesburg mountains and offers families, loved ones and friends a chance to recharge in the bush away from city life. The farm has an abundance of birdlife and a wide variety of game, such as, giraffes, elands, kudus, gemsboks, zebras and jackals.

Whilst there are shorter options, we will be hiking the 6 km circular trail. This hike is suited to families with smaller children and anyone who loves the outdoors. It’s an easy to intermediate trail which is rocky at times with moderate elevations. The trail offers beautiful views of the Magalies mountain range.

After the hike, we will be having coffee/brunch at the lovely Black Horse Restaurant.

Arrive at 07:30, start hiking at 08:00

REQUIREMENTS:

Good hiking shoes, hat, sun block, at least 2lt of water, snacks.

Basic fitness, 6 km

R120 plus R20 club fee
